Mr. Jenkins was a native of Talladega lived most of his life in Talladega County, he was the owner operator of Jenkins Grocery. Veteran of Vietnam where he served in the Army. He is survived by his wife Patricia Wilcox Jenkins, 2 sons Ernest L. Jenkins Jr. of Wichita Falls ,TX., Bobby Lee Jenkins and wife Lisa of Granbury TX. , 2 daughters Michelle Snookums Jenkins of Talladega, Christie Gail Wood and husband Mark of Centennial Co. 8 grandchildren Jennifer Jenkins, Taylor Jenkins, Amanda Jenkins, Jamee Jenkins, Gage Jenkins, Bryan Wood, Abbi Wood and Charlie Wood 2 great grandchildren preceded in death by brother Virgil Jenkins.
