Mr. John Paul Calvin, 79, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Calvin, and by his parents, Charles and Cynthia Calvin.

He is survived by his son, Johnny Calvin (Jamye); granddaughter, Kelcey King; great-grandsons, Kyler King and Ryley King; sister, Beverly Bolz; brothers, Joe Calvin, George Calvin, Charlie Calvin, and Walter Calvin; and special niece, Michelle Blow.

The funeral service will be held at Christ Unity Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024, with Pastor Jerry Wadsworth and Pastor Mike Allums officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Christ Unity Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
