Dorothy Dennis Hubbard, 90, of Talladega passed away on Tuesday, January 02, 2024. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 05, 2024 at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Hubbard was born and raised in Maplesville, AL but lived most of her life in the city of Talladega. She was a devout member of Central Baptist Church and an avid University of Alabama fan. Mrs. Hubbard was a loving mother and Memaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. “Spot” Hubbard, parents, Isaac and Carrie Dennis, and 9 siblings. Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her children, Glenn (Judy) Hubbard, Brenda (Al) Stroh, and Janie (Bob) Freeman; grandchildren, Joanna Blankenship, Drew Freeman, Eli Freeman, Alyson Phillips, and Keely Calixtro; great-grandchildren, Caden Wade Blankenship, Levi Jace Blankenship, Harrison Wyatt Freeman, Emilia Belle Phillips, Eleanor Summers Phillips, Isla Green Phillips, and Luna Virginia Calixtro; sisters, Jeanette Giles and Laura Shirley, and a host of nieces and nephews. Caden Blankenship, Levi Blankenship, Eli Freeman, Bob Freeman, and Drew Freeman will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
