Obituary of Samantha Trammell Fields

Samantha Trammell Fields, 58 of Talladega, passed away December 30, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 3,2024 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Andy Thomas will officiate the service. Samantha was preceded in death by her father Hugh Trammell and nephew Knox Pumroy. She was Baptist by faith. She was a graduate of Talladega High School. Nana (what her grandchildren called her) loved her grandchildren more than anything else and loved watching them compete in sports. She was a avid Alabama and Kansas City Chiefs football fan. She enjoyed her yearly trips to the beach each summer with family. Samantha is survived by her two daughters Tabitha Fields, Farrah Fields (Terrell Lee), mother Sharron Trammell, sister Sondra Pumroy, her special friend Bobby Mitchell, five grandchildren Kinzley Fields, Keeton Fields, Aubrey Machen, Karter Fields, Tavoria Lee, ex-husband Robert Fields and two nieces. Serving as pallbearers will be Terrell Lee, Keeton Fields, Jeff Jones, Steve Fincher, Dallas Cooper, and Mike Logan. Samantha's family would like to say thank you to a special boss and friend Bob Carey for all you have done for her and our family. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct the services.
