Obituary of Vince Higginbotham

Vince Higginbotham, 55, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He attended Alliance Christian School, Erwin High School, and Pinson High School. Vince had many interests, among them being University of Alabama football, chess, watching documentaries, his family, his Savior, Elton John music, Vanguard, okra, and calf liver, having morning coffee with his Mom, and his best furry friend and companion, Dobby. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Laverne Higginbotham. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Hall Higginbotham Ridley (J.W.); children, Frankie Rogers, Grace Rogers, Matthew Vincent Higginbotham (Victoria), Rachel Higginbotham, Catelynn Stevens (Keenan); Darrell Granados, and Suzanna Higginbotham; grandchildren, Damon Vincent Higginbotham, Conner Higginbotham, Caleb Bertram, Katja Fugate, Kevin Wingo, Lily Wingo, and Novalee Palmer; sisters, Kathy Higginbotham Meek and Wanda Lewis; and mothers of his children, Brenda Higginbotham, Shouna Rainwater, and Ana Higginbotham. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City. Interment will follow at Box Cemetery in Ragland, Alabama.
