Coy was the assistant superintendent for Talladega County Schools when I was the principal at B B Comer Elementary. He was a great administrator who lead by example with understanding and empathy. He knew the challenges principals faced daily and was a great listener when I needed one.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family!
Sincerely,
Becky Robinson

We have known Coy and Pam through education in Hale County. Danny and Coy worked together and Pam and Mary taught in elementary school. Coy was a wonderful educator. We enjoyed hearing and laughing about his turkey decoy. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Love, Danny and Mary

I had the privilege of being a class mate and friend to Coy for many years. We had many good times and he was always kind and respectful of everyone. Coy and I spent time in the cloak room in 5th grade because of our talking in class. Just one of our good memories. Coy will be missed. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I first met Coy at Lincoln High School one day shortly after he joined the TCBOE school system as Assistant Superintendent. He and I hit it off immediately. He was so humble and down to earth in dealing with people. He was one of the best school administrators I’ve ever known, mainly because he had good ol’ common sense. Even though we had fallen out of touch lately , I loved the man and I’ll miss him. Rest in peace, my friend.
