Obituary of Nell S. Brewer

Nell S. Brewer, 90, of Talladega, AL passed away in Lineville, AL on Monday, December 18, 2023. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Bryan Camp officiating. Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Stockdale Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Brewer was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She retired from AIDB after over thirty years of service. After retirement, she spent many years volunteering as a Pink Lady at Citizen’s Hospital. Mrs. Brewer was also a member of the Golden Agers during which time she went on many trips to various states. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Archie Brewer; grandson, Zac Brewer; 1 sister, and 3 brothers. Mrs. Brewer is survived by her daughters, Joan Camp (Bud), Donna Keith, and Lisa Gaddy (Ron); son, Mark Brewer; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
