Obituary of Jeffery "Jeff" Allen Williams

Jeffery “Jeff” Allen Williams, 60, of Talladega, AL passed away at his home on Sunday, November 12, 2023. His family will have a private graveside service at a later date with Johnny Jones officiating. Mr. Williams was a native of Kansas City, MO. He served in the United States Navy and worked as a radio announcer for football and basketball. He was also previously employed at Talladega Machinery and Supply, Thibado Mechanical Dynamics, and AIDB where he was the warehouse manager. Mr. Williams was an avid reader and a big Auburn Tiger and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He will be remembered for his witty humor, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Williams, and mother, Gladys Hammond Williams. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Carolyn Mitchell Williams; sons, Ryne Williams and Kendal Mitchell; sisters, Tracy (Marc) Pasley and Julie Williams; brothers, Mark Williams, Buck (Alisa) Williams, and Jody (Katie) Williams; special sisters-in-law, Cindy Williams, Dee Mitchell, and Tricia (Mike) Howell; god-grandchildren, Logan and Ethan Corbitt, and a host of nieces and nephews. Daniel Mitchell, Blake Mitchell, Nick Chandler, and Tim Chappell will serve as honorary pallbearers.
