Obituary of Wayne Douglas Hubbard

Master Sgt. Wayne D. Hubbard, 78, of Munford, AL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 02, 2023. A private service will be held at a later date with Ray Camp officiating. Mr. Hubbard was a 1963 graduate of Munford High School and attended Gadsden State Community College. He was retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service which included two tours in Vietnam. He spent 20 years in civil service at Fort McClellan and Anniston Army Depot. Mr. Hubbard was a member of Jenifer Baptist Church. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and Ozelle Hubbard, and brother, SFC Billy G. Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Hubbard; son, Michael Hubbard (Regina); daughter, Tracy Camp (Rhonda); 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 grea-great-grandchild; brothers, John Hubbard (Ruby) and Fred Hubbard (Carol); sisters, Judy Jarmon and Marilyn Watts (Cecil), and a host of nieces and nephews.
