Billie Jean George, 78 of Talladega passed away Sunday, September 24,2023. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 27,2023 at Midway Memory Gardens. Dr. Roland Brown will officiate the service.
She was retired from A.I.D.B. and a longtime resident of Talladega.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby George, mother, Lucille Irene Robinson, and brothers, Curtis and Harvey Messer.
She is survived by her children, Tonya Beacham (Robert), David Gray, Windie Chase, Sherri Schwartz (Brian), Shannon George, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu if flowers, Mrs. George's family asks that donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate or 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
