Obituary of Charles Ray Humphries

Mr. Charles Ray Humphries, 71, of Cropwell, Alabama, passed away to be with his loving Savior at his home while surrounded by family on Friday, September 15, 2023. Mr. Humphries retired from ThyssenKrupp Elevator Company after 42 years of faithful service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cranford and Opal Humphries; and brothers, Ronnie Humphries and Jerry Humphries. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Humphries; brothers, Bobby Humphries, Don Humphries, and Dale Humphries; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. The funeral service will be held at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, with Bro. Shon Phillips and Bro. Shad Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale, Alabama.
