Obituary of Jane Wilson Wade

Jane Wilson Wade, 77, of Talladega, AL passed away on Tuesday, September 05, 2023 at Grandview Medical Center. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Brother Rick Patrick officiating. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega prior to the service. Ms. Wade was a native of Tallassee, AL but had lived in Talladega since she was 8 years old. She graduated from Talladega High School in 1964 and retired from the Talladega County Circuit Clerk’s office after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Ms. Wade was a loving mother, Nana, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vivian Wilson; sister, Betty Jean Cantrell; twin brother, James Wilson Jr., and grandson, Jacob French. Ms. Wade is survived by her daughter, Reva Wade French (David); twin granddaughters, Alivia and Lauren French; sister-in-law, Beverly Wilson, and a host of nieces and nephews. David French, Joby Dobbs, Jeff French, Jeff McDowell, Ethan French, and Tyler Carr will serve as pallbearers.
