Obituary of Beulah Champion Butterworth

Beulah Champion Butterworth, age 86, of Cropwell, Alabama went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 3, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who consistently served the needs of her family and others. She was an active member of Cropwell Baptist Church, where she supported the mission of sharing the good news of the Gospel. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Cora Lee Champion, husband of 64 years Bill Butterworth, sister Mary Butterworth and brothers Colvin, Luther, Harold, Hubert, Byron, JC, Clyde, Lewis (Joe), and JD Champion. She is survived by her son Glenn Butterworth (Beth), grandchildren Lauren McCreless (Kameron) and Ami Hong (Justin), and great-grandchildren Ellison McCreless, Grant McCreless, and Ann Parker Hong. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 7th, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon at Cropwell Baptist Church in Cropwell, AL. Funeral services will immediately follow. A graveside service will be held at Providence Baptist Church in Eastaboga, AL at 2:30 pm. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Big Oak Ranch or Cropwell Baptist Church (Missions).
