Obituary of Roger Dale Webber

Roger Dale Webber, of Talladega, passed away on August 30 at the age of 80. His funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Bryan Camp officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Webber was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the US Navy at the rank of BTCM (E9) after serving 23 years. After retiring from the Navy, he spent the rest of his career working at Georgia Pacific in Talladega. He is preceded in death by his parents: Allie Webber and Ollie Webber, brothers: Larry Webber (Amy), Bobby Webber (Jane), Wayne Webber (Polly), Jan Webber (Barbara), sister: Gwen Horn (Gene), sons: Michael Webber (Mel), Dennis O'Shea (Hope), and daughter: Denise Beres He is survived by his brother: Greg Webber (Pricilla), sister: Cynthia Knowles, sons: Scott Webber (Gloria), Jeff Webber (Claire), daughter: Diana Smith and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers will be Greg Webber, Jonathan Webber, Gary Webber, Jason Webber, Leslie Palmer, and Colby Smith. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing the services.
