James William “Billy” Wright, 90, of Talladega passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at William F. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette, AL. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 02, 2023 at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Larry Giddens officiating.
Mr. Wright was retired from Talladega County Road Department and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Munford, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Evielee Wright, and sister, Shelby Hicks.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Sue Wright; son, Tony Rutledge (April); 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and sister, Virginia Atkisson.
