Steven Ray Gentry, 54, of Talladega passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Larry Mitchell officiating.

Mr. Gentry was a native of Talladega. He was a very kind and compassionate man who enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He was also an avid University of Alabama football critic.

He was preceded in death by his father, Creston Gentry.

Mr. Gentry is survived by his mother, Joyce Gentry; brothers, Chris Gentry and Tim Gentry; a host of nieces and nephews, and partner, Crystal Webb.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Gentry’s family asks that donations be made in his honor to your favorite charity or your local homeless shelter.
