Mrs. Mary Frances Herren Echols, 99, of Ragland, Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023.
Mrs. Echols was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Ragland for many years. She was also an avid quilter.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Edward Herren and Onnie Echols; daughters, Patricia Salomonsen and Nancy Turbville; sons, John Edward Herren and William Frank Herren and step-sons, Ricky and Dennis Echols.
She is survived by daughters, Linda S. Herren Cusick and Mary Ann Bagwell; son, Albert Ray Herren; step-daughter Betty Turner; step-sons Alan Echols, Ellis Echols, and Sidney Echols and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City with Rev. Larry Wimberly officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Ragland Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
