Even through her horrible days of chemo…while going through some things to donate to charity, she was still the most precious beautiful and funny soul. She couldn’t resist putting these glasses on. I mean, just the fact that she has these in her stash will tell you how much fun she had wearing them! I loved her spunky spirit…and I miss the fun we had together!

I miss you so much, and your Godly wisdom. We used to laugh so hard together, and I loved hearing about all your pranks you pulled at work. Rest in peace sister, until we see each other again some day. I Love You beyond words.

“Oh Barb - Missed by so so many and I am one of those many. From way back in Louisiana with Mark and with Laurie I had the privilege of watching you in action - your kindness, gentleness, openness and spirituality. You shared all this with those around you and it was evident even at the briefest of encounters. Such a smart, giving, driven, selfless and brave woman. I picture you in Jesus' loving arms now with Mark and Ken in particular at your side! Much love to Laurie. Linda Gately”

Barb was a relatively quiet person. She was a peacemaker. She always had a good head on her shoulders. She was compassionate and caring. Barb loved her dogs, especially, Daisy. I will miss her. She is loved by many including Howard and I.

Barbara Daschner, (A.K.A Dash,) Nice knowing you at Camp ASCCA during the 90s. Thank you for taking care of us and keeping us safe while we are at Camp ASCCA even though in 1997, Hurricane Danny forced us to stay at camp two more days. You were there for us day in and day out from riding the three chartered buses to and from Camp ASCCA during Mobile Rotary week and checking us in at Goodwill Easterseals of the Gulf Coast (now Goodwill Gulf Coast.) Remember, you will be missed.

Well done, good and faithful servant. Dash was the best. I am so glad that I was able to work with her and learn from her at Camp ASCCA. Dash is who inspired me to pursue nursing and I am so grateful for her influence. She was kind, caring, and funny. Thank you so very much, Dash.
