Mr. Robert Haskell Phillips Sr., 75, of Ragland, Alabama, passed away on August 11, 2023.
Mr. Phillips retired from Steward Machine Shop with 26 years of service. He was a member of Lincoln Church of God. He loved working around the house, especially yard work.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Phillips and Audrey Hammock; sister, Patricia Mewborne; brothers, Clifford Phillips, Dalton “Cobb” George, and James Ellis.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Phillips; daughter, Amy Adkinson; sons, Robert H. Phillips Jr., Ryan Layton, Brandon Layton, and Daniel Layton; granddaughter, Lily Osborne; grandsons, Drake Adkinson, Jake Adkinson, and Braxton Layton; and brother, Connley Ray Phillips (Gaye), and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City with Sister Linda Milam and Bro. Stewart officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Macedonia Cemetery in Ragland, Alabama.
