Randy Joe Blankenship, of Talladega, passed away July 28, 2023 at the age of 58. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Rev. James Coffman officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 31, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.
Randy was a resident of Talladega and worked for AIDB for 26 years. He loved Auburn Football and Car Racing.
He is survived by his parents, Charles “Sonny” Blankenship and Margaret Blankenship, brother, Gary Blankenship (Margaret), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow and Bonnie Blankenship and Henry and Carrie Gardner.
Pallbearers will be Tony Adams, Tommy Batchelor, Marshall Thomas, Mickey Parks, Kyle Ponder, and Danny Waites.
Honorary pallbearers are Roy Adams, Edward Hendon, Tommy Trammell, Ben Whitten, and Glenn Fuller.
Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing the service.
