Mr. A.B. Beard, 89, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Mr. Beard was a member and trustee of Prescott Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Beard, and his son, Roger Beard.
He is survived by his children, Alice Kennedy, Bertha “Bert” Maddox, Ann Arnold (Vint), Doris "Do" Patterson (Rick), Ralph “Pete” Beard (Sheila), and Sam Beard (Carol); bonus son, Tommy Isbell; special nephew, James Beard (Beth); sister-in-law, Geneva Bannister; life-long friend, Willis Andrews; fourteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Prescott Baptist Church from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Prescott Baptist Church with Rick Patterson, Vint Arnold, and Billy Burtram officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Lawley’s Chapel Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Josh Beard, Shannon Isbell, Jeremy Gurley, Colton Isbell, Austin Beard, Mark Andrews, and Jacob Ware. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Isbell and James Beard.
