Obituary of Faye Riggs St. John

Mrs. Faye Riggs St. John, 89, of Ragland, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Faye was a precious, loving mother of six children and taught her children kindness to all people. She had the most beautiful smile and could light up any room! She was full of faith and spoke often of a God who loved us. She lived simply and had a very giving heart. She was also a hard worker all of her life outside of the home and then as a seamstress for the community. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by two sons, Farrell Wade Riggs and Joseph Neil Riggs; daughter-in-law, Vicki Riggs; son-in-law, David Williams, and grandson, Joshua Clint Kirkland. She is survived by her children, Janet Manning (Stephen), Ronda Williams, Martin Riggs (Cathy), and Darla Herren (Al); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Fonda Johnson. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023. The funeral service, officiated by Bro. Wayne Arnold, will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City, followed by interment at Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Eli Riggs, Levi Kay, Jacob Riggs, Isaac Riggs, Heath Herren, and Kevin Kirkland.
