Betty Jean Payne, 82, of Sycamore, Alabama, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023.
She was preceded in death by sons, David Franklin, Roger Franklin, and Timmy Franklin; daughter, Pamela Jean Franklin; and parents, Oliver and Gertrude O'Donnell.
She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Franklin; son, Dennis Franklin (Rita); grandchildren, Eilene Brantley, Jeff Franklin (Cheryl), Christopher Franklin, Karrie Franklin (Vicki), Anthony Franklin (Becca), Andrew Franklin (Anna), Joseph Franklin (Amy), Justin Franklin (Mandy), and Adam Franklin (Jessica); twenty-three great-grandchildren; and brother, Randle O’Donnell (Karen).
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Ragland.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Ragland with Bro. Edwin Talley officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Shoal Creek.
