Obituary of "Topper" Christopher Lee Webber

“Topper” Christopher Lee Webber, 58, of Talladega, AL passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Billy Epperson officiating. Interment will follow directly after the service at Oak Hill Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Mr. Webber was a resident of Talladega, AL and retired from Honda Manufacturing of Alabama. He was also a member of Limbaugh Chapel. He enjoyed attending car shows, and he was very passionate about restoring old and antique cars. He always had a knack for seeing the potential and perfect finished product in even the worst of vehicles. The rustier the vehicle was, the more he liked it, and he made sure that everything got a new set of wheels. His family never knew what he was going to come pulling down the driveway in. Topper loved motorcycles and anything Harley Davidson as well. He was a loving husband, father, and Paw-Paw. His children and grandchildren were always his first priority. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary Jan and Barbara Webber, and sister, Melanie Gordon. Mr. Webber is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Charles Webber; daughters, Kristy (Russell) Smith, Lindsey (Jesse) McDonald, and Lea (Darian) Lopez; grandchildren, Dylan, Parker, Raleigh, Rory, Avery, Isaac, Kade, Michael, and Ryker; brothers, Gary Webber and Jason Webber, and a host of nieces and nephews. Adam Stanford, John Thornton, Brandon Bates, Philip Epperson, Dwayne Harrell, and Adam Chasteen will serve as pallbearers. Ronny Langley, Steve Parker, Lee Bishop, Michael Mayo, and Mark Mayo will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Webber’s family encourages guests to come help celebrate his life in true Topper style by dressing casually in their favorite pair of blue jeans and any kind of black, Harley Davidson, or motorcycle shirt.
