Clifton Eugene Marcum, 84, of Talladega, AL passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at Bethlehem Cemetery in Clay County on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. with Glen Horn officiating. His family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega from 12:45 P.M. until 1:30 P.M prior to the service.
Mr. Marcum was a native of Logan County, West Virginia but had been a resident of Talladega for many years. He retired from the City of Talladega Water Department and was a member of the Talladega Sheriff’s Reserves for 28 years. He was a member of North Street Wesleyan Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Wallace and Nola Marcum.
Mr. Marcum is survived by his wife, Martha Dale Marcum; sons, Frank Murray and Paul Murray; daughter, Sharon Arbour; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and brothers, Robert Marcum and Rev. Paul Marcum.
