Obituary of Bob Durden

Mr. Bob “Bobo” Durden, 73, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023.
Mr. Durden was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in the Korean DMZ. Bob was always busy and among his interests were fishing, golf, woodworking, making things beautiful, and cheering on The University of Alabama football team.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Durden; parents, G.H. and Edna Durden; brother, Don Durden; and sister, Aline Durden.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Gray Durden; daughters, Tracy Durden Johnson (John), Hailey Gray (Brock), and Heidi Gray; son, Rob Durden; grandchildren, Conner Durden (Sam), Tristan Mayhall, Jackson Hurst, Ian Durden, Colton Stewart, Gavin Stephens, Easton Gray, and Caleb Bowens; and great-grandchildren, Stella Durden, Clayton Durden, and Lincoln Durden.
The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City on Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City with Bro. Randy Howell officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Coleman Cemetery in Riverside.
Serving as pallbearers are Jackson Hurst, Ian Durden, Chris James, Glenn Shealy, Avery Burgess, Scott Fricker, Brock Bowens, and Conner Durden.
