Obituary of Linda Lou Thomaston Brannon

Linda Lou Thomaston Brannon, 75, of Lincoln, AL passed away in Georgia on Monday, May 15, 2023. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Jacky Morgan officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the services at Blue Eye Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Brannon was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and she was a member of Blue Eye Baptist Church. Mrs. Brannon was also a devoted caretaker who always looked after everyone else. This was a characteristic that she carried over into her professional life as the owner and operator of an assisted living home in Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvel David Thomaston and Seleta Elizabeth Thomaston; daughter, Kellie Middleton; sisters, Euna Mae Underwood and Brenda Sue Slay, and brother, Thomas Thomaston. Mrs. Brannon is survived by her son, Brian Marks; sisters, Barbara Kirtley and Kelsey Johnson; brother, Don Thomaston; grandson, Jeremiah Middleton; great-grandchildren, Noah Middleton and Joachim Middleton; nieces, Tina (Marty) Otinger, Leah (Jeff) Minter, Allison (Greg) Montgomery, and Debbie (Rick) Henderson, and nephews, Phillip (Elizabeth) Thomaston, Andrew (Dana) Thomaston, and Chad (Teresa) Martin.
