Obituary of Alexis Chappell Casey

Alexis Chappell Casey was born on May 21, 1958. She was granted her angel wings on May 12, 2023 at the age of 64. Her final days were spent surrounded by family that Alexis had touched in some small way throughout life. She was a long-time resident of Talladega and a short order cook for most of her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her Husband Leonard Casey, Mother Hazel Chappell, Father Alexander Chappell, Adopted Father Burl McMichael, Brother Rod Chappell, Grandmother Maude Blankenship, Grandfather Tom Blankenship. She was survived by 2 daughters Stacey Bowman (Michael), Wendy Casey, 2 sisters Hilda Enloe, and Rebecca Herd (Dave),5 grandchildren Chrissy Pilkington (DJ), Caitlin Bowman, Candace Bowman, Reanna Casey, and Ashton Cardwell, 2 great grandchildren. There will be a memorial at a later date. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega assisted her family.
