Obituary of Patty Ray Wade

Patty Ray Wade, 84, of Talladega, AL passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, May 01, 2023 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Clay County. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. prior to the service. Mrs. Wade was a native of Clay County, AL but lived most of her life in Talladega. She was an employee of Bemiston Bag Company for many years before finally retiring from Avondale Mills of Pell City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Beatrice Wills. Mrs. Wade is survived by her daughter, Vicky (Scotty) Poss; grandchildren, Brooke Poss and Zack (Amanda) Poss; great-grandchildren, Brody Poss, Rider Weldon, Luke Poss, and Elleigh Poss; sisters, Maurine Brewer, Betsy Graben, and Jane (Elton) Shaddix; brothers, Huie (Mavis) Wills and Louie (Maxine) Wills, and a host of nieces and nephews. Rider Weldon, Huie Wills, Dwayne Wills, Scotty Poss, Brody Poss, and Zack Poss will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
