Obituary of William H. Shute, Sr.

Mr. William H. Shute, Sr., 75, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Mr. Shute achieved the highest level of the scouts and was a proud Eagle Scout. He was a boat captain and loved working on yachts in the summer. He retired from Kmart. In 1967, Mr. Shute met the woman who would become his wife and, in 1968, they married. After retiring from Kmart, he went on to work with her at Judy’s Craft Mart. Mr. Shute was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Shute; parents, Stewart and Elizabeth Shute; and by his brother, Jack Shute. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Bunt (Michael); son, Billy Shute, (Cara); grandchildren, Sarah Bunt, Michael William Bunt (Abby), Madilyn Shute, Leigh Ann Shute, and Olivia Shute; great-grandchild, Declan Graham Bunt; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Porter Family Cemetery with Bro. Rick Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that individuals place any needed items inside of any of the Faith Community Fellowship blessing boxes located throughout Pell City, AL.
