Obituary of Jackie Holladay White

Mrs. Jackie H. White, 76, of Odenville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Mrs. White grew up in Shoal Creek Valley, Alabama, and graduated from Ashville High School. She retired as the financial secretary for Crestway Baptist Church in Irondale, Alabama. She was a member of Odenville First Baptist Church and the Friendship Quilt Guild. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, watching Auburn football, and participating in Operation Christmas Child. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Frank White; parents, Horace and Georgia Holladay; and sister, Judy Mitchell. She is survived by her sons, Keith White (Stephanie) and Chris White (Becky); grandchildren, Joseph White, Jason White, Blake White, and Emily White; brother, Ferrell Holladay (Sharon); and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Odenville First Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Wilson and Bro. Chuck Wall officiating. A memorial service will also follow at Noon at Odenville First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Odenville First Baptist Church prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions to Operation Christmas Child be made through Odenville First Baptist Church.
