Joan Patricia Chappell, 81 of Talladega AL. passed away on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at her home. A Graveside service in her honor will be held on Saturday April 15, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega, with Burgess Austin officiating. The family will recieve friends at Usrey Funeral Home 10:30 am - 11:30 am Saturday prior to the services.
Mrs. Chappell is survived by her husband: Curtis Chappell, one daughter: Shelia Green, three sons: Rick (Sylvia) Chappell, Eddie Hendrix, and Kip (Beebe) Chappell, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Mrs. Chappell was a native of Virginia and a resident of Talladega for 40 years, was a former employee of Food Outlet in Pell City where she worked in the personal office. she was a very outgoing individual who loved people and never met a stranger. Her hobby was loving to read and going to eat at the Pell City Steakhouse.
