Obituary of Robert Huey "Bo" Walker Jr.

Robert Huey “Bo” Walker Jr., 68, of Talladega passed away at his home on Sunday, March 26, 2023. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Jacky Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Interment will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Walker and his wife, Maggie Walker, passed away on March 26, 2023 at their residence. Robert was recently retired from Anniston Army Depot after over 30 years of service. He was born in Clay County but spent most of his life as a Talladega resident. He served in the United States Air Force with honor. He loved without limit and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie L. Walker and Robert H. Walker Sr., and son, John Wayne Walker. Mr. Walker is survived by his children, Robert H. (Misty) Walker III, Traci (Paul) Goodwin, Krystal (John) Luker, Samantha (Marty) Crump, and Brandon Holmes; sisters, Janice (Rufus) Styres and Sandra (Rodney) Hart; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones. Cody Sprayberry, Fred Hurst, Jerry Corby, Roy Swafford, and Jarod Smith will serve as pallbearers. There will be a reception immediately following burial at Stockdale Baptist Church.
