Obituary of Margaret "Maggie" Elaine Walker

Margaret “Maggie” Elaine Walker, 77, of Talladega passed away on March 26, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Jacky Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Maggie was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a beautician for 25 years. She worked at “Elsie’s Beauty Shop” and went on to own her own shop. Maggie enjoyed watching Nascar & Alabama Football, but her favorite thing was spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Maggie was the most amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, granny, and friend. She was joined in death by her loving husband, Robert Huey Walker Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Dean and Sarah Lena Hannah, son, John Wayne Walker, and aunt, Elsie Mayo. Maggie is survived by her daughters, Samantha (Marty) Crump, Traci (Paul) Goodwin and Krystal (John) Luker; sons, Brandon Holmes and Rob (Misty) Walker; grandchildren, Lacey (Steven) Taylor, TC Heath, Isabella Crump, Gage McDaniel, Gabi McDaniel, Gryce McDaniel, Coltin Ellison, Kalyn Ellison, Asher Walker and Embri Walker; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Diana Long, and brother, Robert Luther Hannah. Pallbearers will be Steven Taylor, Mike Brewer, Tommy Perkins, Sam Willingham Jr, Scott Sellers and Lee Isenhour. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
