Obituary of Linda Ann Hubbard

Mrs. Linda Ann Hubbard, 81, of Talladega, AL passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Billy Evans and Martin Murray officiating. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. prior to the service. Mrs. Hubbard was born on June 22, 1941, and she married her sweetheart, Cecil, just 14 years later. She was a homemaker and a school bus driver for Clay County School Systems for 20 years. She was also a member of Chandler Springs Baptist Church where she served for many years as the Vacation Bible School Director and in any other role she was needed. In all these things, she served and ministered with excellence. She was an excellent wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent servant to her church and community. Her love for Christ was evident in all that she did. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Virginia Webber, brother, Stanley Webber, and son, Scott Hubbard. Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her husband of 67years, Cecil Hubbard; daughter, Rhonda (Michael) Bowlin; sons, Steve (Phyllis) Hubbard and Kevin (Kelli) Hubbard; 8 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Lance Hubbard, Wesley Boyd, Braden Hubbard, Chandler McMath, Brodie Boyd, and Rylee Boyd will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
