Obituary of John Thomas McClellan Jr.

John Thomas McClellan Jr., 46, of Munford, AL passed away at his home on Monday, March 13, 2023. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home with Kevin Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Munford. Mr. McClellan was a native of Haines City, FL but had been a resident of Munford since 1989. He was also an employee at Precision Strip in Talladega. He was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas McClellan Sr. Mr. McClellan is survived by his mother, Julia McClellan; stepfather, Charles Kelly; sisters, Susan Lynn (Scott) Deuel and Shirley Gail McClellan; nieces, Shanea Lackey, Chasity Pringle, Gabrielle Deuel, Mara Deuel, and Hanna Stephens; nephew, Abel Deuel, and a host of aunts and uncles. Abel Deuel, Daniel L. Stephens, Michael Lowrence, Davis Beard, Jarred N. Vise, and Jamie W. Hoover will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
