Donald Wayne Smith, 72, of Talladega, AL passed away at his home on Friday, March 10, 2023. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston with Cookie Thrower officiating.
Mr. Smith was an auto mechanic by trade but also worked for Southern Carpet and Hardwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Margaret Smith, brothers, PeeWee Smith, Buddy Smith, Raymond Smith Jr., and Randy Smith, and sister, Louise Harrison.
Mr. Smith is survived by his daughters, Jeana Marie Jones and Stephanie (Dylan) Beavers; son, Donnie Price; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette (George) Roberts, Diane Carter, Patsy (Kenny) Pickle, and Debra Hicks, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dylan Beavers,Donnie Price, Jose Pena, and Aaron Mims will serve as pallbearers.
