Obituary of Bobbie Joyce Nelson Wyatt

Bobbie Joyce Nelson Wyatt, 90, of Munford, AL passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 03, 2023 at Pine Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with John Whetstone officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Usrey Funeral Home from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. Mrs. Wyatt was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. She was a lifelong member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Munford but had attended Eastaboga Baptist Church for the last few years. Mrs. Wyatt also retired from Citizen’s Hospital after 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Franklin Eugene Wyatt, and parents, Willie Cleveland and Margaret Ethel Nelson. Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Gary) Howle, son, Garry (Faye) Wyatt, and grandchildren, Kristie (Roy) Mitchell and Stacy (Ricky Shane) Gaither. Pallbearers will be Roy Mitchell, Shane Gaither, Eugene Nelson, and Max Lathem. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice. The family appreciates everyone’s love and support during this time but requests that friends and family respect their period of mourning by refraining from bringing condolences and food to their homes until a later time.
