Mr. Curtis “Chuck” Huey Roden, Sr., 85, of Ashville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
Mr. Roden served in the United States Air Force. He was an accomplished musician and had played on the Grand Ole Opry with many of country music’s great artists including Patsy Cline, Charlie Rich, Johnny Cash, Dottie West and Loretta Lynn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Isabele Roden.
He is survived by wife, Aliece Turner; daughter, Carrie Pridmore; granddaughter, Samantha Davis (Josh); and sisters, Joh Warren (Doug) and Connie Teague.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
