Obituary of Priscilla Pressley Smith

Priscilla “Patsy” (Pressley) Smith of Munford, AL passed away February 6, 2023, at the age of 80. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Munford Church of Christ with Shane Clark officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church building. Mrs. Smith was born and raised in Talladega and resided in Munford for the majority of her life. She was a member of the Munford Church of Christ and the Munford Red Hat Society. Mrs. Smith worked in various jobs over her lifetime primarily in textile industries but retired as the florist at Winn-Dixie in Talladega. She loved to garden, travel, and enjoying time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother and wife and was adored by her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Smith is survived by daughter Karen Maxwell (Joel), son Jeffrey Smith (Lori), son Derrick Smith (Holly), brother, Merrill Pressley, sister Ginny Rockwell, grandchildren Jennifer Reynolds (Jared), Brandon Maxwell, Ryan Smith, Erika Smith Sims (Jordan), Harrison Smith, Darcie Smith, great-grandchildren Emma Reynolds, Jameson Reynolds, Anberly Reynolds and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Mary Lou (Pate) Pressley, sister Mary Helen Knapp, husband William L. Smith, and son William Kenneth Smith. Pallbearers will be Anthony Presley, Trey Rockwell, Brandon Maxwell, Ryan Smith, Harrison Smith, Jared Reynolds Flowers may be sent to Usrey Funeral Home or the Munford Church of Christ.
