Obituary of Carl Otis Standridge

Mr. Carl Otis Standridge, 78, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Mr. Standridge attended Wattsville Freewill Baptist Church. He was a retired driver for Ferrell Propane Gas. Formerly, he worked at The Pink Variety Store in Pell City and he was currently employed by Richey’s Body Shop. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Standridge; brothers, Bobby Standridge, Billy Standridge and Jimmy Standridge; and parents, Gertis and Willie Belle Standridge. He is survived by his daughter, Carla Ball (Tyrone); sisters, Doris Parvin, Joan Foster and Kathy Keeley (Tom); brothers, Jerry Standridge (Nathany) and Phillip Standridge; granddaughters, Breana Standridge, Tiana Gray (Keith), Jessica Standridge-Ball, Kayla Ball and Taylor Ball; and great-grandchildren, Christian, Makiyah, Zaiden, Makenzie, Chylan, Faith, Austin, Avah, Arianna and Asia; sister-in-law, Peggy Ruppe; brothers-in-law, Randy Wiggins (Lena) and Johnny Wiggins (Charlotte); and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City. A funeral service honoring his life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City with Bro. Vint Arnold officiating.
