Mr. Gene Lester Jackson, Sr., 71, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023.
Mr. Jackson was the retired plant manager for Alabama Plate Cutting Company with over sixteen years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jackson; daughter, Pamela Jackson; and son, Gene Lester Jackson, Jr.
He is survived by his son, Charlie Scott (Robin); sister, Julie Gamble (Ricky); brother, Johnny Jackson (Teresa); grandchildren, Blake Lucas (Tiffany) and Christopher Scott (Amber); and great-grandchildren, Haley, Mackenzie, Jackson, Chloe and Charleigh.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, with Bro. Vint Arnold officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Moody Chapel Cemetery in Altoona, Alabama.
