Q: How did you meet Michael?
A: Mike and I started 1st grade at Eastaboga School. Then off to Lincoln High we went. We graduated in 1967. He excelled in sports. He was a lot of fun to be around. He was always kind and considerate always had a smile for everyone. When he and Connie started their business, he always helped us find what we needed for our motor home. He loved our school and was always ready to help others in the community. Rest in peace,we will miss you. Our thoughts and prayers are with Connie. Class of 67 , Sarah Mount (Coley) Bolt

Connie and family, I'm so sorry to hear about Mike's passing away. Y'all have been my "go-to" friends for years on campers and more like brother and sister. I will be keeping y'all in my prayers with much love. Thankful for you!!

Mike Turner bled Black & Gold. He supported Lincoln High School athletics and was a tremendous role model for all the young people of our county. He was a sincere man whose word was his bond. We often discussed athletics and our Munford/Lincoln rivalry never affected our friendship. We mourn the loss of a southern "gentleman". RIP "HIPPO"

Mike was my best friend growing up... We went through Eastaboga Elementary and Lincoln High School together, Mike was a year ahead of me... When he graduated high school, we began to drift apart...
But every time I came home, we would get together for at least an afternoon to get acquainted with each other's life... He will always be my best friend...
Rest easy my friend....

We are so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. We found this picture from the day the memorial windows were dedicated at the church. We always loved seeing Mike and remember when he came out when Dad bought his camper. Our prayers are with his friends and family.
