Obituary of William Kenneth Smith

William Kenneth Smith of Munford, AL passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 61. His graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, January 20 at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Munford with Derrick Smith officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 2:30pm to 3:00pm at the graveside. Ken was a native and lifelong resident of Munford and a member of the Munford Church of Christ. After completing his training as an electrical technician in Birmingham, he worked for International Enterprises, Inc. in Talladega for a number of years. He was married to Alicia (Watts) Smith and they resided in the Ironaton area. Ken enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting and adored his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Watts Smith and father William L. Smith. Ken is survived by his mother, Priscilla “Pasty” Smith, sister Karen Maxwell (Joel), brother Jeffrey Smith (Lori) and brother Derrick Smith (Holly) along with numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Munford Church of Christ on Ken’s behalf. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
