Funeral services for Mary Opal Brannon Parks 74 will be Wednesday January 11, 2023, 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Justin Milliken, Jackie Potts, and William Killough will be officiating services. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery will be announced later. Mrs. Parks passed away at her residence on Friday January 6, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday January 10,2023 at Usrey Funeral Home 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Mrs. Parks is survived by children: Daughters: Audra Chambless (Ian Johns),Dawn Butler (Brett), two-step daughters: Sandy Parks Culver, Teresa Parks, two sons: Dean Buckner, Dr. Louis R. Morris Jr. and step-son Carl Parks. Grandchildren: Emma Chambless, Matthew Chambless, Pierce Deneke, Kaitlyn Deneke, Tyler Holmes, Kaylee Johns, Callen Butler, Chloe Butler, and Craig Culver, sister: Margaret Brannon Sollie (Ed), brother: Luther Brannon, sister-in-law Delores Brannon, numerous nieces and nephews, and her friend and caregiver Patricia Spears Mrs. Parks is preceded in death by her husbands: Louis R, Morris Sr. and William Parks, Son-in-law, Michael Chambless, parents : Philip and Rena Brannon, sister and brother in law: Gail Brannon Wood and Robert, and two brothers : Donald Brannon and Arlin Brannon. Mrs. Parks was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County, Member of Hepzibah Baptist Church and was retired from TCRC head start program.
