Obituary of Ronald "Ronnie" Joe Kirk

Ronald “Ronnie” Joe Kirk, 74, of Talladega, AL passed away at his home surrounded by family on Monday, December 26, 2022. He is cancer free in the presence of Jesus. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with John Tricket officiating. Interment will follow directly after the service at Midway Memory Gardens. The family will receive friend at the funeral home on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Mr. Kirk was a proud marine and Vietnam veteran. He loved University of Alabama football and going racing with his sons at the dirt track. Most of all, he was a loving daddy, popaw, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi F. Herd and brothers, Robert Kirk and Brian Jenkins. Mr. Kirk is survived by his daughter, Michelle Kirk (Allen) Hazellief; sons, Steve (Shelley) Kirk and Corey Kirk; grandchildren, Logan Kirk, Lauren (Adam) Davis, Jordan Kirk, and Zoey Kirk; great-grandchildren, Blakely and Asher Davis; father, John I. Kirk; sisters, Janie A. (Harold) Webster, Joann Wittges, and Connie Kirk; brother, Johnny Kirk, and a host of nieces and nephews. Robbie Kirk, Johnny Webster, Brian Webster, Kyle Kirk, Scott Lackey, and Shane Sanders will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Bowman and Greg Freeman.
