Obituary of Haley Elizabeth Holcombe Meyeres

Haley Holcombe Meyeres, 41 years old, of Munford, AL passed away on Thursday, December, 22, 2022. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at Jenifer Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with her nephew, Chaz Champion, and Ray Camp officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Munford Memorial Cemetery. Haley was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister, and she was a caring friend to all. She loved and adored her family, especially her daughter, Sophia, who she always said was the very best part of her and her greatest blessing. She had a servant’s heart and drew strength from her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Haley loved her family, her friends, gardening, and taking care of all people, especially children. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph R. Holcombe. Mrs. Meyeres is survived by her husband, Michael Meyeres; daughter, Sophia Elizabeth Holcombe; mother, Frankie Holcombe; sister, Hydie H. Champion (Wade); brother, Thomas Joseph Holcombe; nephews, Chaz Champion (Andrea), Carter Champion, and Canaan Champion; great-niece, Piper “Pip-Squeak” Champion, and great-nephew, Kage Champion. Tony Creed, Blake Haney, Mark Conerly, Conner Hughes, Landon Lolmaugh, and Donaven Williams will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Munford High School Class of 1999.
