Jerry Albert Stone, of Talladega, passed away December 23, 2022 at the age of 82.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Talladega Church of Christ. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Russ Vickers and Steve Oliver will be officiating.
Mr. Stone is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice Gallahar Stone; sons, Brad (Renee) of Munford, Brian (Helen) of Lincoln, and Brandon of Talladega; grandchildren, Victoria, Harrison, Katie, and Olivia. He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Stone; mother, Ruth Stone; and sister, Jane Bates (Donald).
He was a member of Talladega Church of Christ. He retired from Quality Manufacturing and was also retired from the Alabama National Guard 127th medical unit. He enjoyed Auburn football, hunting, fishing, and especially his grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing the services.
