Obituary of Tina Haynes Duke

Tina Haynes Duke, a lifelong resident of Munford, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the age of 57 in her home. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 01, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Kevin Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Interment will follow directly after the funeral ceremony at Stockdale Baptist Church Cemetery. Tina was born in Anniston, AL on March 14, 1965. She graduated from Munford High School and obtained an associate degree from Gadsden State. She attended Antioch Baptist Church and was a long-time member of Stockdale Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and pillar of the community. Tina was a force to be reckoned with, known for her strength and loyalty, she enjoyed spending her time serving others, and was loved by most all who knew her. She spent 11 years working for the Farm Service Agency in Talladega as well serving on many committees, boards, and booster clubs. She was an integral part of the family farm serving in multiple roles, but more than anything she enjoyed being involved in all her children’s many activities and various interests. Tina is survived by her husband, Mike, daughters, Erin (Elizabeth) Duke and Cheslee Duke, grandson, “Junior,” sisters, Toni Whaley (Chip) and Teresa Smith, father-in-law Lewie Duke, niece and nephews, Gunnar Whaley, Calvin Smith, Hannah Whaley, Carson Smith, and Corbin Smith, great niece, Cambrie Smith and great nephew, Jett Whaley. Tina is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Haynes, father, Jimmy Haynes, mother-in-law, Ann Duke, and son, Clint Duke. Pallbearers will be Calvin Smith, Carson Smith, Corbin Smith, Gunnar Whaley, John Cupp, Brent Green, Thomas Smith, and Josh Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Putt, Dana Bolton, Michael McCain, Chip Whaley, and Tony Ivey. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
