Obituary of Jean Arabella Jones

Jean Arabella Robinson Jones, 88, of Talladega, AL passed away in Tallassee, AL on Thursday, November 24, 2022. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 28, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Otis Graves officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Entombment will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Jones was born in Liverpool, England, moved to the United States when she was 19 years old, and was a resident of Alabama for 69 years. She was an employee of Palm Beach before becoming a loving caregiver for her husband. Mrs. Jones was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Jones Sr., parents, Henry Archibald Robinson and Miriam Rose Robinson, and son, David Wayne Jones and a great grandchild Troy Justice Ellis. Mrs. Jones is survived by daughter, Debbie (Ted) Jackson; sons, Ellis (Ellen) Jones Jr., Ricky Jones, and Joey (April) Clay; brother, Kenneth Robinson; 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
